Influence of Organizational Culture at Elder Care Facilities on Turnover Intention of Employees

Abstract
This study was to figure out the influence of organizational culture on turnover intention for the employees of the elderly care facilities. The respondents were 200 employees who were caregivers for the elderly patients at the facilities located in the Gyeongbuk area in Korea. The major findings were that task-oriented organizational culture as well as mental burnout were the significant predictors for the turnover intention. The findings were discussed in the context of establishing
more constructive organizational culture to lower the intention level, such as emphasizing upon mutual trust, intimacy, and collective consciousness among employees.
